1. The Service

Googy is a place review intelligence tool. We help you analyze and compare businesses using publicly available Google place and review data, combined with automated and AI-assisted processing, to produce summaries, themes, scores, and recommendations.

The Service is provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety advice. You are responsible for how you use any output and for verifying important decisions through your own research.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to use online services) to use the Service.
• You sign in through a supported authentication provider (for example, Google). You are responsible for maintaining access to that account and for all activity that occurs under your Googy profile.
• You agree to provide accurate contact information and to keep it up to date where we request it (for example, for billing or support).
• One person or organization may not share an account in a way that circumvents credit limits, abuse controls, or these Terms.

3. Credits & billing

• Certain features consume credits. Credit costs for analyses and comparisons are shown in the app and may change from time to time; we will apply the pricing in effect when you run an action.
• New accounts may receive promotional signup credits at our discretion. Promotional credits have no cash value and may be modified or discontinued.
• Paid credit packs are sold through our third-party payment provider (currently Dodo Payments). Prices are displayed before checkout. Payment processing is subject to the provider's terms and your card issuer's rules.
• Credits are digital goods. Except where required by applicable law, all sales are final once credits are delivered to your account. Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis for billing errors or failed delivery — contact info@googyapp.com.
• We may suspend or revoke credits obtained through fraud, chargebacks, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or deceptive purposes.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract our models, prompts, or non-public APIs except as permitted by law.
• Circumvent rate limits, credit consumption, authentication, or security controls.
• Submit queries or content that infringe others' rights or contain malware or abusive payloads.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute raw Service output as a competing review-intelligence product without our written permission.
• Misrepresent AI-generated summaries as guaranteed facts, official Google content, or human-written reviews.

We may investigate misuse and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Third-party data & services

The Service relies on third parties including Google (place and review data), cloud infrastructure, authentication, analytics, and payment providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and policies.

Googy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. Google Maps, Google Places, and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC.

Review text and place information come from public or licensed sources and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for errors in source data.

6. AI-generated content

Summaries, scores, themes, and recommendations are generated automatically. They may omit context, misclassify sentiment, or reflect biases present in source reviews. Always use your own judgment, especially for health, safety, legal, or high-stakes decisions.

You may share or export reports for personal or internal business use, but you should not present them as authoritative audits or guarantees about a business.

7. Intellectual property

We own the Service, including its software, design, branding, and proprietary analysis formats. These Terms do not grant you ownership of our intellectual property.

You retain rights in content you submit (for example, feedback). You grant us a limited license to use that content to operate, improve, and support the Service.

8. Privacy

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR CREDITS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Unused paid credits are generally non-refundable upon termination except where required by law.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. General

• These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
• If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
